About TWN
ABOUT TRAINING WITH NUNEZ
Southwest Virginia
Who We Are
PERSONAL. INTENTIONAL. PURPOSEFUL.
Training With Nunez was built on a simple belief — that real development requires more than reps. It requires a plan, a relationship, and a standard. TWN exists to provide baseball and softball athletes in Southwest Virginia with the kind of intentional, individualized training that actually moves the needle. Not generic programming. Not shortcuts. Development built around the individual athlete and what they're trying to accomplish.
The Coach
PLAYER. COACH. MENTOR.
ISAAC NUNEZ
Founder, Training With Nunez
Isaac Nunez is the founder of Training With Nunez and a former professional baseball player. His experience as an athlete — the development, the grind, the adjustments, the adversity — is what shapes the way he coaches.
Isaac doesn't coach from a textbook. He coaches from experience. He's been through the process of developing as a player at every level, and he brings that perspective into every session, every plan, and every athlete relationship at TWN.
Playing Career
THE JOURNEY BEHIND THE COACH.
Before Training With Nunez became his full-time focus, Isaac experienced the development process from nearly every side of the game — high-level youth baseball, recruiting, college baseball, national championships, summer baseball, professional baseball, international competition, adversity, and adjustment. Those experiences now shape the way he develops athletes.

EXPERIENCE THAT SHAPES THE COACH.
Every level brought a different challenge — recruiting, college baseball, competition for playing time, championships, adversity, professional baseball, international baseball, and eventually the decision to step away from playing. Those experiences now shape the way Isaac approaches player development at TWN.
Isaac doesn't coach from a textbook alone. He coaches from experience. The goal isn't to build athletes who depend on a coach — it's to help them understand their game, navigate adversity, make adjustments, and take ownership of where they're going.
What Comes Next
THE NEXT CHAPTER.
After completing his professional playing career in 2026, Isaac shifted his primary focus toward coaching and building Training With Nunez in Southwest Virginia. The same work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to development that defined his playing career now go into every athlete he works with.
Instead of chasing his own career, the focus is helping the next athlete navigate theirs.
